I haven’t been sick since we started the show for the most part. There was that two weeks of bad flu/Covid but we did the shows without missing a beat. So hopefully the voice will be back in a day at least something passing as a voice as I continue to recover.

Had it last week- 3 days an absolute faucet, sinus congestion, then the lungs but not terrible – a pain in the ass, tho nothing like the bio-weapon from 2 months ago. You’ll gain an extra -low octive for a few days when it starts breaking up and will be able to sing Johnny Cash – 6 days to be back at 100%. Hang in there – and make sure you have the soft tissues, my nose still feel like I took sand-paper to it.

Misery loves Brother. I woke up yesterday to call the dogs to go out, and it wasn’t my voice that came out; it was something more akin to someone strangling a chicken. I found, as the day wore on, that if I drank tea with honey, I sounded Iike Tom Waits. If I didn’t drink the tea I sounded like Satan. Rest up, get better…and drink the tea. Take care.
