This is not me having a solid opinion; this is just me examining claims for myself.
When Mike spoke with Karl Denninger and he said that people had ‘gone missing’ when looking at labor statistics, and when he spoke of more people going on disability, I went and looked at some numbers myself on the government Social Security/SSI website. When I compare fall 2020 to fall 2021, I don’t see a ton of new injured:

Note, however, that because you have to be disabled for at least a year (if I recall correctly) before you can apply for longterm disability, it is possible that a multitude of people might still show up. One could argue that the reduction of people on longterm disability is due to wiping people out completely, but it’s enough of a stretch that I don’t feel comfortable drawing that conclusion in a definitive fashion.
