Today, Fauci Is Worried About A ‘Monster Variant.’ But Watch What He Said Last Week – Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday morning that COVID-19 might mutate into a “monster variant” capable of sending fully vaccinated people to the hospital, in what seems like a sharp contrast to how he answered the same question just one week ago.

Dr. Fauci, President Biden’s chief medical advisor, has seemingly answered the question of whether a new variant may emerge that one day will overcome the currently authorized COVID-19 vaccine in an ever-changing variety of ways, with contrasting emphases, for months. – READ MORE

Biden Administration Send Less than Half the Lifesaving Antibody Treatment Needed to Florida – The Biden administration this week slashed the doses of lifesaving coronavirus antibody treatment to Florida, giving the state less than half of what is needed for a routine week, prioritizing “equitable distribution” — a move some suspect is a form of revenge against Republican governors whom the president vowed to get “out of the way.”

The Biden administration this week began to cut the distribution of monoclonal antibodies to red states, such as Florida and Alabama, contending those states, including Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, and Louisiana, are comprising too big a share of the supply in recent weeks — 70 percent. – READ MORE

D’Amelio said the company is currently conducting Phase 3 studies for children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years old. – READ MORE

Joe Biden Forgets Who He’s Talking To — Calls Australian PM ‘That Fella Down Under’ – U.S. President Joe Biden appeared to forget who he was talking to Wednesday night when he looked away from his prepared notes for just a few seconds and addressed Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison as “that fella down under.”

The verbal fumble came during an exchange between the two leaders and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson detailing a defence deal struck by the long standing allies to help Australia acquire nuclear-powered submarines. – READ MORE

New York Teachers Protests Vaccine Mandate, Chant “F**K Joe Biden!” – On Monday, protests broke out in New York City as Americans voiced their disdain for the new vaccine mandate being proposed by President Joe Biden and practically every Democrat. Marching across the Brooklyn Bridge, the teacher’s group is also protesting Mayor Bill de Blasio who announced last month that all personnel within the Department of Education must get the vaccine by September 27. Being forced to get the vaccine in order to keep their jobs, the protesters chanted a familiar phrase heard around numerous college football games, “F**K Joe Biden!”

Carrying signs that read, “Last years heroes, this years unemployed,” “My body, my choice,” and “I call the shots,” numerous videos of the protest quickly made their way online. As you can see in the videos below, hundreds of people, including teachers, staffers, and even parents gathered together at the “Freedom Rally” to stand up for their right to choose what vaccine they get. – READ MORE

Report: John Durham Will Seek Indictment of Democratic Lawyer for Allegedly Lying to the F.B.I. During ‘Russian Collusion’ Investigation – Former U.S. Attorney John Durham has told the Justice Department he will ask a grand jury to indict cybersecurity lawyer Michael Sussmann for allegedly lying to the F.B.I. during the “Russian collusion” investigation, according to the New York Times.

John Durham, who was appointed by the Trump administration to investigate the probe into Russia’s alleged election interference, will reportedly seek an indictment by a grand jury over a meeting between Michael Sussmann and the F.B.I. in 2016 when Sussmann claimed to not have been working on behalf of a client while raising suspicions about Donald Trump’s ties to Russia. – READ MORE

Ex-Military Hacker’s Company Sold For $1 Billion The Same Day DOJ Let Him Walk With $335k Fine – An ex-U.S. military member who hacked computers for the government of the United Arab Emirates received a “deferred prosecution” agreement that let him escape a criminal conviction in exchange for paying a fine of $335,000, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.

But that penalty likely will amount to no pain at all for Daniel Gericke: Gericke is the chief information officer for ExpressVPN, a computer privacy company that announced the same day that it was sold as part of a nearly $1 billion deal. – READ MORE

Trillions of Dollars Later, Is the Poverty Rate Any Lower? – The federal government doled out trillions of dollars in “stimulus” cash in 2020 and 2021 in order to jump-start the economy that had been deliberately — and, as we now know, unnecessarily — all but shut down for several months to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The government also authorized a trillion dollars more in extended unemployment benefits that ended less than two months ago. Taken together, the payments were designed to keep people’s heads above water while the economy recovered. – READ MORE

Taxing the Rich Isn’t Enough to Pay for Democrats’ Welfare State. They’ll Need To Soak the Middle Class Too. – Democrats are ready to raise taxes. They want more revenue, in part to fund an out-of-this-world amount of new spending. Some simply want to soak the rich, as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–N.Y.) plainly signaled at the Met Gala by wearing a white dress with “TAX THE RICH” scrawled across it in red paint. While the public may be more receptive to the idea because of concerns over high budget deficits, let’s not be naive—many voters believe that these tax hikes won’t hit them. There’s so much wrong about this assumption.

Writing for The Dispatch, the Manhattan Institute’s Brian Riedl documents President Joe Biden’s spending plan, which would expand federal government spending by $11 trillion over the next decade. This spending would help fund a cradle-to-grave new world in which government is omnipresent in our lives. The spending would increase family assistance by $550 billion. Another $700 billion would be wasted on counterproductive “Buy America” provisions. Expansion of the Affordable Care Act would cost another $1.4 trillion; some $2 trillion would go to a Green New Deal; K-12 schools would get more money. All of this is on top of the $6.6 trillion spent on COVID-19 relief. – READ MORE
