Cops Fire Rubber Bullets, Arrest 200 At Massive Australian COVID-19 Lockdown Protest In Melbourne – Melbourne police fired rubber bullets into a crowd and arrested more than 200 people during the third straight day of anti-lockdown in Australia’s second-largest city, which is trying to maintain strict stay-at-home orders to control the spread of COVID-19.

Australia has adopted some of the strictest anti-COVID measures in the world in an attempt to reach “COVID-zero,” or a full period without a single COVID-19 infection. Construction workers, who are being cited as the first group to protest, are also now subject to mandatory vaccination. – READ MORE

ABOUT-FACE: The Real Reason Michigan Gov. Whitmer Is Now Saying ‘No’ to Covid Mandates – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, known for her Stalin-like responses to COVID, has pulled an about-face. The normally dictatorial governor has decided against mask mandates in schools and vaccine passports. This is obviously out of step with what leftists are doing elsewhere–and from what Whitmer has decreed in the past.

Oakland County Executive David Coulter, a fellow lefty, agrees with her decision. Maybe he also sees the writing on the wall (my apologies, I forgot walls are racist). – READ MORE

UK Lockdown Will Result in 10,000 Unnecessary Cancer Deaths: Study – A lack of face-to-face doctor visits in Britain since the beginning of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic is likely to result in 10,000 unnecessary deaths from cancer, a report from the University College London (UCL) has found.

Since the first lockdown in March of last year, an estimated 40,000 people were referred to emergency care for cancer late, which the report said will “conservatively” see 10,000 Britons die “significantly earlier” than under normal circumstances, with the possibility of deaths being “several times higher” in a worst-case scenario. – READ MORE

An investigation by The Telegraph newspaper and published on Sunday found that there was a 57 per cent increase in children presenting at hospital A&E wards in May 2019 — before the pandemic hit British shores — where there were 1,428 cases, compared to May of this year where there were 2,243 child patients. – READ MORE

American Reporters Furious as Boris Johnson Takes Questions in the Oval Office, Joe Biden Does Not – American reporters in the White House press pool registered their frustration with President Joe Biden and his staff Tuesday for not taking questions at an event, even though United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on reporters from the U.K.

Reporters leaving the Oval Office were visibly upset by Biden’s refusal to take questions and by press wranglers who shouted over the president when he seemed to be trying to speak. – READ MORE

Biden Pushes Forward with Plan to Put 30% of U.S. Land Off Limits, Including Private Property – President Joe Biden is pushing forward on an executive order calling for 30 percent of U.S. land be “conserved” — up from the 13 percent that are national parks and other federal holdings — including private property. And while environmentalists want even more restrictions, Republicans and Americans whose livelihood depends on land are strongly opposed to what they see as a land grab by the federal government.

“This ‘30×30’ goal has received a great deal of attention in farming and ranching communities across the country,” American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall wrote in April. “America’s agriculturalists are asking whether their good work will be recognized by the administration. They have voluntarily enrolled more than 140 million acres of private land into federal and non-federal conservation programs — a land mass larger than the size of New York and California combined. – READ MORE

‘Domestic Terrorism’ Fears Will Be Used To Justify Increased Snooping and Harassment –After the pro-Trump demonstrations and breach of the Capitol on January 6, the Biden administration is promising a new era of FBI snooping, harassment, and provocateuring.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs in a statement released on Tuesday that his FBI “has surged resources to our domestic terrorism investigations in the last year, increasing personnel by 260 percent.” Those remarks are bad news for anybody who is worried about federal overreach. – READ MORE
