Far-Left Atlantic Admits Coronavirus Hospitalizations Misleading: Roughly Half Not Due to Infection or Severe Illness – The far-left Atlantic, owned by leftist billionaire and widow of Steve Jobs, Laurene Powell Jobs, admitted in a Monday piece the dramatic reporting on coronavirus hospitalizations may be misleading, given it does not account for the severity of the illness of those hospitalized, nor does it specifically identify if individuals are actually hospitalized for another reason.

Students in Massachusetts will be getting new bus drivers: US military personnel –Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker activated the National Guard on Monday to help transport students in several cities across the state to school amid a widespread bus driver shortage plaguing the return to in-person instruction.

The governor’s order makes up to 250 Massachusetts National Guard personnel available, and 90 of those Guard members will begin training on Tuesday to serve as drivers of school transport vans known as 7D vehicles to address staffing shortages in district including Chelsea, Lawrence, Lowell, and Lynn. 7D vehicles are smaller pupil transport vans that can hold a maximum of 11 people, including the driver under Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles regulations in effect since July 1, 2020. – READ MORE

Whirlpool Raises Employee Vax Incentive To $1,000 – Covid-19 is so deadly that Whirlpool has resorted to paying employees a $1,000 cash bonus to get vaccinated against it.

The Benton Harbor, Michigan-based appliance maker had previously been offering its 27,000 workers $200 cash bonuses to get the shot, according to Bloomberg, which notes that the vaccination rate in Michigan stands at around 51% of the population. – READ MORE

Biden White House Asks Congress To Approve Welfare For Afghan Evacuees – The White House is asking Congress to make welfare benefits available to Afghanistan migrants evacuated out of the country and transported to the United States.

The U.S. working with allied countries and private organizations oversaw the evacuation of more than 120,000 people out of Afghanistan in August. The vast majority of those were Afghans fleeing the Taliban, and roughly 65,000 of those Afghans were taken in by the U.S. and transported to U.S. military bases around the world, including in the United States. – READ MORE


A Man Threatened to Kill a GOP Representative and His Family. You Won’t Believe His Punishment. – Sidhartha Kumar Mathur, 35, of West Friendship, Maryland, threatened to kill GOP Rep. Andy Harris and his family. His punishment? Mathur will be spending the next eight weekends in jail. That’s 16 weekend days for threatening to kill a member of Congress. He will conveniently be done in time for Thanksgiving. Then Mathur has to stay home for six months. He must do 100 hours of community service and will be on probation for two years.

In December 2020, Rep. Harris, who represents Maryland’s Eastern Shore, was one of 126 House Republicans who supported the Texas lawsuit that sought to overturn President Biden’s election victory. The Supreme Court later rejected the lawsuit. – READ MORE

Report: Mark Milley Told Military Officials Not to Take Orders After Capitol Riot – Joint Chiefs Chairman Army Gen. Mark Milley single-handedly took top-secret action to preempt then-President Donald Trump from ordering a military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to a new book.
