Tornadoes bring death, injuries, damage to several states – Tornadoes and severe storms swept across several states Friday night, leaving in their wake multiple deaths, numerous injuries and severe structural damage.

Affected states included Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky, where the governor said it’s ‘certain” that more than 70 people are dead. That number may top 100, Gov. Andy Beshear said Saturday morning.

Major incidents included heavy damage to an Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville, Illinois, where two people are confirmed dead and dozens of workers were reportedly trapped inside the building, and the destruction of a nursing home in Arkansas, where at least two people were killed and five were hurt, according to reports. – READ MORE

New York Mask Mandate Meets Resistance, Won’t Be Enforced in Several Counties – This week, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a new statewide mask mandate that will take effect on Monday, Dec. 13, citing a rise in case numbers. The mandate requires face masks to be worn in all indoor public places that don’t have a vaccine requirement.

“A violation of any provision of this measure is subject to a maximum fine of $1,000 for each violation,” Hochul said in a statement. She also added that “local health departments are being asked to enforce these requirements.” – READ MORE


Pennsylvania Supreme Court strikes down K-12 mask mandate – The Pennsylvania Supreme Court struck down a statewide mask mandate for Pennsylvania schoolchildren on Friday, in a defeat for Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration.

The justices announced their decision to uphold a lower court order vacating the mandate, but have not yet issued a written opinion explaining the reasoning of the court. – READ MORE


CO Gov. Polis: COVID ‘Emergency Is Over’ and We Don’t ‘Get to Tell People What to Wear’ – During an interview with Colorado Public Radio on Thursday released on Friday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) defended his refusal to reinstitute a state mask mandate by saying that the coronavirus “emergency is over” and state public health officials don’t “get to tell people what to wear.” Polis also argued that because vaccines have been available for a long time, “People who want to be protected are.” And that “If you haven’t been vaccinated, that’s your choice. I respect that. But it’s your fault when you’re in the hospital with COVID.” – READ MORE


Arizona county could ‘reduce’ jail population if more corrections officers don’t get vaccinated – One Arizona county may be forced to “reduce” the number of inmates being held in jails because of a new vaccine requirement for certain county employees that is affecting jail personnel.

The Pima County Board of Supervisors voted on Nov. 2 to approve a vaccine requirement for county employees who work with vulnerable populations, which includes corrections officers who are employed at the county jails. – READ MORE


Fears New Austrian Law Could Be Used to Imprison Unvaccinated for Up to a Year – A member of the populist Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) has expressed concern that amendments to a law on administrative enforcement could be used to imprison unvaccinated people for as long as a year.

Susanne Fürst of the FPÖ fears that an amendment to the Administrative Enforcement Act could be used to enforce the proposed mandatory coronavirus vaccination policy against the unvaccinated. – READ MORE


It Begins: Germany Fast Tracks Vax Mandate for Hospital and Care Home Staff, Universal Mandate May Be Next – German lawmakers are debating a bill Friday that would require staff at hospitals and nursing homes to get vaccinated against the coronavirus or risk losing their jobs.

Health Minister Karl Lauterbach told parliament it was unconscionable that some who work with particularly vulnerable people are still not vaccinated. – READ MORE


‘Ritual humiliation’: Unvaccinated children put in front of classroom – Some schoolchildren in Germany have been asked each day to go in front of their class and state their vaccination status, resulting in applause for some and scorn for others.

The report in Germany’s leading newspaper, Die Welt, was relayed by British journalist Alex Story in a segment for the TV channel GB News. – READ MORE


Pfizer Jab Sends Over 120 Kids To The Hospital With Adverse Reactions, Described As ‘Normal’ – Over 120 students have been rushed to the hospital in the Vietnamese province of Thanh Hoa after they got the Pfizer-BioNTech jab. This has led officials in the province to discontinue this batch, yet they still have children take the shots from other Pfizer batches.

The Epoch Times reported that Thanh Hoa began giving the COVID-19 jabs to minors between the ages of 15 and 17 on November 30, and the provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) has confirmed that over 120 of the teenagers had adverse responses to the shots, with 17 of them being severe. State media Vn Express reported that the teenagers began experiencing nausea, high fever, and breathing difficulties after getting the shots. – READ MORE
