Dr. Fauci’s Retirement Package Could Exceed $350,000 A Year
While Dr. Anthony Fauci might have only recently gained stardom for injecting himself at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 81-year-old has spent the last 55 years working as a federal employee. And although he constantly contradicts his statements and pushes outlandish agendas, apparently, if he were to retire, he would receive over $350,000 a year from his retirement pension. For those who might not know, that would make him one of the highest compensated federal employees in history.
According to Forbes, Dr. Fauci will soon out earn four-star generals and even presidents, not to mention over “4 million of his colleagues”. Forbes wrote, “As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Fauci earned $434,312 in 2020, the latest year available, up from $417,608 in 2019.”
Using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Forbes noted, “Documents released to our non-profit organization OpenTheBooks.com reveal that Dr. Fauci was approved for a “permanent pay adjustment” in excess of his regular salary in December 2004, to “appropriately compensate him for the level of responsibility… especially as it relates to his work on biodefense research activities.” They added, “From 2004 through 2007, Fauci received a 68-percent pay increase from $200,000- to $335,000-a year. This award was permanent and carried forward through 2020.” – READ MORE
