Hey so has anyone met someone who has had this treatment? I spent many years running a therapeutic horticulture thing for vets w/ PTSD (not all, but a lot) going through drug rehab therapy (while it was an excellent institute, the relapse rate sat at >80%).

I’d include Corbett and CAFitts in that list (over 10 year span) but Ice Age Farmer is running at 100% accuracy in a one year period.

I just can’t stress enough: mycorrhizae & organic matter. Let the microbes grow your plants for you. Let them regulate nutrient exchange, water issues. Trust me, they’ve been practicing for hundreds of millions of years. They’re way better at it than us.

Things like humic and fulvic chelation and amending soil are more my bag.

You can take a core sample in the fall and in the spring and send it to the closest university for nutrient testing to see what you’re low & high on. pH. That kind of thing.

Ideally you should always have a living root in the soil to maintain the mycorrhizal/microbial network (microbes need roots to maintain their networks). So yeah, mustard, rye work well for cover crops (also to get that nitrogen back in.

Oh yeah I forgot another basic in there. You need a Calcium/Magnesium product in there. Calcium for cell walls, Mg is the center of a chlorophyll molecule. Both are cation/anion exchangers but that technical stuff doesn’t matter.

Botanicare CalMag is inexpensive and excellent. There’s a thousand cal mag brands though.

Just so you guys know I’m not some shmuck, here is the first plant I ever grew outside many years ago as a kid. Im a greenhouse grower and farmer, but here is an example of how much you can do with a small area (not knowing what you’re doing). That’s 650 pounds of fruit out of 100 square feet.
