Will everybody please post the situation in their area? This is real time. My brother sent this last night from a Phoenix Fry’s. Fry’s is the biggest supermarket chain in Arizona. The store has 8 self checkouts and 8 lanes about 40000 sf.

I posted a comment a day ago about researching into rocket stoves. This shows a good diagram near the top at the principle of how they work. I have read that they are x4 better than a fireplace for heat generated from the amount of wood used.

I just ordered a 7 cu ft. Deep Freezer for our family of Four.

In the past year, we’ve lost power 3 or 4 times due to Storms and most recently due to a vehicle accident.

Should I invest in a back up generator as well?

Right now it’s not in the budget.

Should I nix the Deep Freezer and get the Generator instead?
