This is from 2013! I, myself, didn’t even know this. I foolishly thought since the systems were using different EMR software packages, they wouldn’t be able to share data!!!! I have to believe this is being done by almost all 50 states and should make everyone’s blood run cold. UH just switched to the same EMR software package the Clinic uses, Epic, which should make the tracking even easier. I warned about the dangers of EMR’s and what the end game was really about when Obamacare was passed, and everyone thought I was nuts.
