There was a 2.6 magnitude earthquake in Canton, NC last night (Tuesday). Not hearing reports of injury or damage. I’m gathering most of us are pretty far east of there. Anybody feel anything? Aftershocks expected.

Sparta is not an hour’s drive from us north and west. They’ve had several earthquakes over the last few years, nothing dangerous, but we’ve felt some of them in Mt. Airy. Personally, I like the ground under me to stay still, if you get my drift…poor choice of words.

I agree ,we live near a rock quarry and sometimes the blasts shake the whole house.
