Tough, tough day….
Things are bad with Trish. Fluid is building in Trish’s brain. Her incision is leaking. The neurosurgeon put in a new suture to close it up, but said they worry her skin is breaking down and not healing, thus not holding the sutures. This is due to her age, many health problems, and the injury to her brain from the bleed, two surgeries and the infection, which is being treated but is not over. All of that slows down her body’s normal healing processes. They may have to do a further surgery to put a drain going from her brain to her spine. There is always the chance of further infection from further surgeries. They told us to be prepared for possible permanent nursing home care, and that Trish would never again be person we knew. How that might manifest is unclear, but that’s what they told us. Without a miracle….

Wow I am sorry to hear all of that my friend! How disheartening! I will be praying for a miracle then! Keep your head up brother… these docs sound like they have been all over the place. Hopefully they are just wrong with their assessment of Trish’s future! God bless you, Trish and your family! Praying for a miracle!

Oh Dana, I wish that I could be there to give you a hug. I am so sorry that you, Trish, your family are going through this. Since I cannot be there to help you navigate the material, I will focus on nonmaterial… on the transcendent.
I’ve come to know that we are connected through the collective subconscious which is part if subatomic fabric that makes our amazing universe. In my view, our creator intended us to connect through time and space… to live beyond the material. I learned about this in terms of quantum physics ands Jung’s psychology, but recently @wonwaymel introduced me to similar concepts in neuroscience.
So where am I going with this? As you fight for the proper medical care, and support of Trish’s material being, please know that we are out here doing our darnedest to support her in the greater, nonmaterial, worlds. Our minds, memories, etc are not contained or constrained by physical bodies.
Yes, Trish’s health trajectory is uncertain… and that’s good… it opens up the world of “the possible.” Most materialist scientists (and medical professionals) cannot imagine the possible… that’s for folks like us to handle.
We in who conspire in the Green Dragon are entangled in spirit through common purpose, enormous faith, and dedication to all we hold dear and true. (Just like our man Tom Paine). While you’re with Trish, we’re here at the Inn. We’ll keep the candles lit, the fire burning, and the music playing to welcome all. Tonight I’ll be playing “Money for Nothing” for you and Trish so you know we’re here and we love you.

After hearing your call in today, Dana, hard to hear – man, it seems they were just too eager to get you guys out of their hospital. They have brought all this shit upon you guys, and themselves, by taking the stitches out too soon – I would want to know who was responsible for that decision. If they are being more helpful now, or trying to get you guys out, its because of the shaky ground they are now standing on – you could probably sue their worthless pants off. Stay strong!
