Nothing is written in stone what they want doesn’t mean it’s what they will get. Spent decades going to Town, Village, County meetings and speaking up. Many things were changed that they wanted, fines were levied, stories became front page news. Usually there was no organization just a so called Activist doing what no one else would do. Usually I lost the battles but many times it was a win. If more people stood with me; more battles would have been one. Calling them out is therapeutic as well as telling them off publicly and in writing. Few people get off the couch, start a petition or simply engage to spread awareness. Phone calls and in the day faxes worked too. Defeatism hopelessness and that thing the Boston guys said.. Disparity is just how we are being waterboarded. There just battles.
