Hey Taverneers, I’m hesitant to post news from the Hurricane Helene mess in Western NC and East Tennessee from internet sources. There are both legitimate and crazy people saying all kinds of things so it’s hard to trust what you hear. The fellow in this video, I used to listen to before I ran into Mike Moore/Thomas Paine back in early 2020. He goes by “Bear” and is the pastor and one of the leaders of a group of like minded Christian/survivalist/homesteader/prepper communities in rural Oklahoma. His group is ministry oriented and has legitimate ministries who do disaster relief, and provide rescue, protection, legal, medical and psychological counseling services for trafficked and abused people. So far, in all these years, I’ve seen them put their money where their mouth is, while remaining human rather than holier than thou. They are not crazies, and he is not David Koresh. They are well armed, hold strong Jewish tinged Christian beliefs, yet appreciate fine Bourbon and a good cigar. He mentions Glen Beck, but in the context of talking with people who are actually on the ground in the Helene affected areas, and like him or not, Beck has been there regardless of what his motives for doing so might be. You can listen to it all, but he (Bear) recommends starting at time stamp: 15:24 minutes in. That is where he begins speaking on “anomalies” of the storm and its aftermath. Take it or leave it, and let the buyer beware. As for me, I’m not trying to make internet conspiracy dogma here. Unless I was actually participating in the rescue and recovery, I’d trust Bear over folks like Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, or Stew Peters…or Glen Beck. Bear also mentions a YouTuber who goes by “Wrangle Star,” whose prepper videos I find truthful, informative and helpful. If Bear wasn’t telling the truth, Wrangle Star would call him out. But if what Bear says is correct from 15:24 minutes in, then this is truly disturbing. Make of it what you will, and do your own homework before propagating it. I don’t know how it happened, but clicking on the Bear video link above, actually begins the video at where Bear says it should begin—with the anomalies. If you look it up and watch it on YouTube, you can start at the beginning if you would like. By the way, “Wranglestar” might be one word instead of two. Looking him up either way should get you to his YouTube channel. Bear Independent has a YouTube channel as well.

Hey, Grind Stone Ministries and “Bear” may be new to some of you, and you rightfully might be skeptical, given their (not to me) unorthodox approach to things. OMG!!! I just learned through Coach Dave that Grind Stone is PULLING OUT OF THE MOUNTAINS due to DEADLY RESIDUE IN THE SOIL from the manipulated clouds of Hurricane Helene. They are NO LONGER sending people up into the mountains to do rescues, house reclamation, or clean-ups because IT’S NOT SAFE!!! They are ONLY continuing distribution of supplies. THIS IS INFO DIRECTLY FROM COACH’S CONTACT AT GRIND STONE. Dear God…..we truly need to be fervently praying for all the victims – now affected by this PURE EVIL ‘twist’ in the situation!! 🙏 My heart is breaking for the people….as if losing “everything” wasn’t already enough…. 😭

I think this the same video as I first posted, just on Rumble instead of YouTube. That they are pulling personnel out, is sad, but at the same time Bear is responsible for the safety of his crew, and to their families, who are looking to him to keep them safe.

Your post about land grabbing got me to thinking about other forms of land grabs. One of the biggest is the constant encroachment of governmental units buying up land for “public” use. So I did a search for my state of Michigan and it turned up that the Federal Government owns 10% of land in the state and the State Government owns 28%. The majority of that is in the Upper Peninsula, but it’s still shocking that the government owns over a third of the property. I know it’s even worse in some western states

Ask a Native American about Government land grabs. They know a thing or two about it. Poisonous mud in NC and Tenn isn’t much different than small pox infected blankets given to Native Peoples to “keep them warm.”

Wow – Postman! I suspect that most states are at least that – if not more. But the ‘land grab’ in the title is just the ‘end result’ of what Bear speaks about in this video!!
EVERYBODY needs to find the time to watch/listen to this video!! He literally proclaims that he is NOT suicidal – if that gives you an idea of the gravity of what he goes on to disclose!! The PURE EVIL is beyond comprehension. @mike : this is like a real-time Hot Wire.

Good post, Paulie. Somewhere back in the Green Dragon Tavern discussion archives, I believe I addressed the subject of communications. People stockpile weapons, ammo, food, drink, and medicine, etc., getting prepped for the big day or catastrophe, but no one thinks about communication. If the SHTF for real, and the internet went (or was taken) down, all of us in the Paine Universe would be cut off from one another. We need to think about (as affordable as possible) getting several of us around the country to get into HAM radios, and begin a communication network. Imagine if the net went down, and several of us could be talking to each other right away. I know movies aren’t war, and war isn’t movies, but in every war film I’ve ever seen when the radio gets hit, or the radioman, it ruins everybody’s day.

In 1998 I was on the first civilian aircraft that was allowed to land in San Pedro Sula, Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. Mitch entered the north of Honduras as a Cat-5 hurricane, travelled through the country and went into Nicaragua. There it turned around and went north back through Honduras, still a Cat-5 hurricane. It crossed the Gulf and hit Florida as a Cat-3 hurricane. Honduras was completely wrecked. We had 3 factories with about 1200 people in each. I did not meet a single soul who did not have at least one family member missing. People were living on their rooftops because the mud was 3 feet deep in the streets and in their houses. Graveyards opened and washed away. There were dead people and animals buried and protruding out of the mud, along with the corpses of the previously dead. Everybody was sick with some kind of bacterial or fungal disease. The US Army Corps of Engineers was there (Heads up: most people don’t know we moved the entire Southern Command of the US Army from Panama to Honduras, after we lost the Canal to China). Yes, China now runs the Canal and has a military presence in Central America. But back to my point; with that kind of devastation, and the adding to the mix, industrial waste (dangerous chemicals), raw sewage of mass proportions, dead and decaying bodies, and any other dangerous or carcinogenic toxins, you are basically living in a toxic waste dump. When I got home a couple of weeks later, I was sick with an unspecified illness that doctors thought came from decaying farm animals in the mud. Now given the same kind of stuff, not to mention the possibility of there being nuclear fuel/waste in the mud, if I was a ground commander there, I wouldn’t jeopardize their health either. I cannot fault Bear’s decision to get his people out, as painful as that is.

The blood is on the Biden-Harris administration’s hands. Whether this was weather manipulation or just a freak storm in the wrong place, still, the US Government response or lack thereof, is repugnant. In a perfect world, the entire weight of the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Navy Seabees and their domestic communications and medical personnel should have been mobilized and on site before the first civilian helpers left their homes. Anybody here mind their tax dollars going to support the military effort if we had the leadership determined to massively respond? Where’s General Patton when you need him? The Corps of Engineers in Honduras had that recovery underway immediately.
