Radio Silence….

Hey Taverneers, I’m potentially going to be running on radio silence for a bit. Tomorrow I’m having my left hip replaced, and then going to our daughter’s house for a few days to hang with the family (whose job it is to treat me like a king and wait on me hand and foot—no, just joking; really they’re supposed to make sure I don’t fall down for the first little bit—especially since I seem to do that so well.) They live in a more rural area outside of town, so communications tend to be a little sketchy. So if you don’t hear from me, or hear back from me if you try to contact me, don’t take it personally. I figure in a week at the most, hopefully sooner, I’ll be back home with all signals and channels restored. Y’all do take care and…all prayers and good wishes much appreciated. Love y’all.

Always good to hear from you Dana, was wondering how you’ve been. Perhaps a point to ponder: the more you rest by your Daughter the faster you’ll be back at it.😉 Here’s to enjoying time with family,🙏 for successful surgery & healing❣Looking forward to your return.

🙏 for your surgery. Kick back and enjoy the family pampering time, it’s not every day one gets a hip replaced!

You’ll be walking 3 miles a day before you know it. Maybe even dancing!

Prayers for a successful surgery and recovery. I will miss you.

Prayers for a speedy recovery. Get yourself a bell so you can summon your daughter when you need her 😉

Sage advice, Paige, the bell! My sweet and loving Grandmother had a bell and it brings back memories of her ringing the bell and telling me: “once a lady, twice a baby” as I carried her back and forth to the bathroom after her surgery. Looking back now, I was just an innocent High School kid at the time (a mere porkster 🐖💨) and it became a big, 3x daily, unexpected life lesson for me.

      Speedy recovery, Bro !

      🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dana – This message is long overdue… thinking of you, praying for your rapid recovery. Will check in with you via phone in a few days… you have been on my mind… I know you will be well and will give that new hip a workout in the coming months! Cheers to you wild man… I hear tequila works wonders to promote healing and as a hip lubricant…

May the Good Lord bless and keep you, your surgical team, and your family later today as you get your new hip! Onward and upward, Dana. Let the pampering begin!
