Hello out there! It’s been a while. Last April Carrie, bless her, stepped up to the plate for me, when I contracted sepsis from a biopsy, necessitating two stays in the hospital, and months of daily IV antibiotics after each stay. Those of you who frequented the Tavern may recall Carrie informing you that my old college roommate and long time friend found himself in a health crisis with his wife, similar in severity and longevity to what my late wife, Trish, went through. As my friend had lost a leg to diabetes, and had developed diabetic retinopathy making his vision worse than 20/200, he needed rides to visit his wife, who was hospitalized in a city 30 miles from where they lived. His wife fought a valiant fight, but her fight ended in September when she passed away in their local Hospice home. Then came the grape harvest, then came winter. But enough about me and my absence. The last two weeks winter came on like the Blitzkrieg. Staying on the night watch to keep the wood stove stoked, I entertain myself by watching mostly YouTube videos, as it’s easier to invest 15-20 minutes of mental energy, as opposed to committing to a movie or even an hour TV program. If I’m engaged and not really paying attention, YouTube will play videos for me on their own. There’s a 50/50 chance YouTube will play something I’ll like based on my viewing history, and the same odds they’ll play something that will make me scratch my head in absolute wonder. [DISCLAIMER] The following account is true, however the subject matter was my first experience with “Deep Fake.” Saturday (yesterday) they played a video of conservative writer and pundit George Will. George told me and anybody else watching that a recording of President Trump secretly ordering his Justice Department to fabricate criminal corruption charges against several Democrat governors just prior to the upcoming primaries. According to Mr. Will, this recording was leaked to Mitch McConnell, who promptly shared it with 12 Republican senators in a closed door meeting. The long and short of it was that Donald Trump had to go, immediately. Impeachment was inevitable and forthcoming. The task was to get 16 Republican senators to jump ship and vote to remove Trump from office. Implementation of the 25th amendment to remove him from office immediately was also discussed. Criminal charges against Trump were pending, but would be dismissed if Trump would voluntarily step down “for the good of the country.” The YouTube channel hosting the video was “The George Will Desk.” Scrolling down from this video, several other videos reporting the same “news” story were there going into great detail. I went out online and searched on “The George Will Desk,” and found several recent photographs of Mr. Will, and he, today, is about 25 years older looking than the George Will in the video referenced above. Within about two hours, the videos were taken down, and the channels as well. With the exception of Mr.Will’s age being off considerably, for all intents and purposes it was an incredible likeness. It sounded like his voice too. One of the other channels broadcasting the same story was anchored by one of CBS’ newsmen-I don’t know who, but I’ve seen him on “60 Minutes.” The execution of the broadcast videos was impeccable, and scarily real. My BS detector went off immediately upon hearing. However, the disturbing thing was, I wondered, was how many unsuspecting easily duped folk had their evenings shattered by this “Deep Fake“ broadcast? The gullibility of so many renders them proverbial lambs to the slaughter in the wake of AI savvy terrorist broadcasters. Recall, if you will, the widespread panic caused by Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds.” That was only a pre-television radio broadcast. I’m a Luddite technologically speaking, so my exposure to much of the Mainstream Media is quite limited. I was shocked by the exceptional quality of these deep fake Trump broadcasts. And, it really piqued my imagination as to what kind of havoc might be wrought in people’s lives if a deep fake 9/11 type event were broadcast, or something worse. The potential for mayhem is tremendous. All the more reason to have your virtual dial tuned to Paine.TV.

On a humorous note, upon watching the above deep fake video, I went out online and did a search on “The George Will Desk” hoping to find something about who created the YouTube channel and video. The search yielded numerous photos of wooden office desks. I don’t know if any or all of them ever belonged to George Will, but they certainly gave validation to my aforementioned BS detector.

I thought they were ministry of truth and sworn to make sure all content on their platform was within their impeccable standards. I guess when you write the rules you can enforce them as you see fit?

Good to here from you my man. Yes the ” havoc” potential is certainly a concern. Equally concerning is the millions of casual youtube watchers thinking theyre being presented with data. The reality is its all just a three stooges episode. Discernment and decision making is of almost no value . Skepticism and inaction is the state of mind for today. And yes ,that has its cost too.

Stem cells treatments in mexico is like 30gs its ridiculous but it does work. Mel Gibson took his 90yr old dad over in his wheel chair and he was able to stand up and get boners again in no time. Wonder why its illegal in America?

Because the AMA and Big Pharma has a drug(s) that don’t work, but they cost more money. The Medical/Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex has two goals, one to keep you alive with drugs that barely work as long as you can pay; and two, to take all your money then kill you off.

Yup, the elites want you dead, so they use big pHarma and the MIC as a tool to achieve that goal or if you manage to survive, keep you on the plantation until you do. The only way to break free from that is to completely denounce germ theory because germ theory is what keeps you on their fear bus. Accept terrain theory and then you begin to believe in nature and listen to your body that is trying to achieve homeostasis constantly. That process does not happen overnight and takes time to realize the nirvana that we are all looking for. It is a slow process…
