Again and Again….

Well, the tests came back positive;Trish definitely has Sepsis, and, is being treated for it. She will be moved to the Neuro ICU tonight. The Neuro ICU is much better than the Trauma ICU, where she was before. Here she will be treated by the Special Forces of physicians as opposed to posers of other departments. They will be installing another drain in Trish to relieve the fluid pressure in her skull; this one going from her brain cavity to an external collection vessel. Long day to say the least. She’ll probably be at this hospital for a while, again, but it beats the alternative. Thank y’all again so much for your prayers and encouragement. I can never repay you for it all. Love and hugs!

Oh my goodness Dana. Hang in there. Sending you both 🙏🙏🙏.

Tough to hear. One foot forward two steps back, and all because of the early removal of staples. Sending Trish back – seems to me they will pass the baton to anyone who will take it! And sending her back to the place where the mistake was made prob took some arm twisting. Also would like to point out that CT scans (which they seem to be handing out like aspirin) are invasive and harmful. There has to be better care than this!
-
Hang in there Dana! Trish is so lucky to have you fighting by her side. Peace be with you. Crossing fingers.

With all that’s going on in your life, I appreciate you taking the time to share Trish’s healing path with us. Always good to hear from you Dana, please know we are with you both in spirit and prayer for sure🙏. Each moment🕰 really is precious that’s why it’s called the ‘present’🎁. Thank you for sharing & reminding to be with those we love & stay the course – wherever that takes you. Please take care & be blessed.
-
We are praying for healing for Trish, you and you family. 🙏 🙏

Saying a prayer 🙏 for Trish and that God grants you the strength & stamina you need. I remember calling for consultations with Drs. to find out what was going on with a brain injury. Sounds like you’re damn good at it.

Trish has Sepsis as was reported yesterday, and we learned today on top of that, that she also has a urinary tract infection, and pneumonia. There is abnormal bleeding at the drain site, which will prohibit, along with the infections, any further invasive procedures. That means they will not be replacing the missing bone in her skull any time soon, or be able to do anything should an emergency arise. Once again, Trish finds herself in dire straits, and could really use your prayers. She has been largely unresponsive today, and after doing so well last week.

Dana, my dear friend. It is more important that ever for you to KNOW that she is there with you. That she was doing well and she can do well again. The brain and mind are powerful, more powerful that reductionist materialist science tells us.
Our minds individually and collectively are involved in creating reality… It’s time to use out far vision to see her well, proceeding from where she left off…. @wonwaymel has far more expertise than in these matters… it’s just that the bacteria got going so her body is redirecting energy to addressing that issue(s). Sepsis is not minor, but managing it is something they medical community has a lot of experience with….
In the meantime I believe that it’s imperative for us to focus on envisioning her recovery, reaching out to her, letting her know we are here….
Now I am new at this… very new…. With your permission I’d like to write some messages for you to read to her… I will post in this feed and if you think the content and tone are ok, perhaps others can do the same. In the meantime, music, stimulation, jokes, memories… all are worth sharing… @wonwaymel what do you think? Could you send Dana the link to that fantastic interview Quite Frankly did with the neurosurgeon? You know, the one you shared with me? I think it would be great for Dana to hear and consider.
So Dana, of course we will pray in our own ways, but if it’s ok I’d like try this idea out… provided it’s ok with you and my friend/expert @wonwaymel !

Dana, our hearts ache for Trish and you. 🙏 We understand the seriousness. Nancy and I went through something similar to Trish with Nancy’s mother in 2010, meaning she had sepsis after prior surgical procedure. It seemed dire but she pulled through. Keep your faith and our prayers to you for resilience.

I am so sorry Dana! I am crying with you bro and praying right along side you!! Wish I could do something to help…! As Im sure you do as well… probably feeling pretty helpless at the moment and wishing you could do more! I can’t imagine what you are dealing with over there but you just staying strong for her and fending for her in her weakest moment is showing everyone in that place as well as here what it ACTUALLY looks like to live out your wedding vows! We can ALL learn A LOT from you 2! God bless you and will keep praying!!

Yes Dana, prayers for Trish with comfort, love & peace to you both wrapped in a warm hug🙏

Sounds like you and Trish are firmly embraced by God’s protective love. The Neuro ICU and the step-up in medical staff attention is a definite move in the right direction.
Infections are super scary but I believe the little critters are put there to do some good. Not talking germ theory but I don’t think it’s all just bad juju & that’s it. Infections must serve a purpose beyond existing as an “enemy” attack. Plus the fact that while the hospital is managing the infections with top-of-the-line medications, I think it gives God some time and opportunity to work on divine healing for Trish.
If we are alive in God’s “Creation” it would stand to reason that the Creator is a manufacturer and we are the product, so to speak. Who can fix the product better than the manufacturer itself? Definitely not the third-party Geek Squad at the Genius Bar of human intellect. Some things are just beyond our capacity to understand or ability to do anything about.
Sometimes God will even ask us to completely let go of that tree limb we’ve been left to cling-on to by Life’s circumstances: Have Jesus take the wheel. Our free-fall is God’s opportunity to heal us (returned to manufacturer for repairs).
You are in one of Life’s most dire and challenging situations Dana, I know it. It’s the most unfair and daunting things we can ever face. I believe in your strength Dana. You are courageous and bright. You live a life of righteousness and sincerely follow God’s Will to the best of your ability. I know God’s reward is divine protection. For me it’s God-first, but I have faith in you also.
Sending much love and respect to both you and to Trish.

Start at 20 minute mark. I suspect Trish is traveling in her cosmos gathering up all of that energy. As I stated before, @dana.acker and Trish God bless you both on this journey. I pray for comfort, peace, and safety
