A lot of them frame Trump as a ‘Cyrus’ who funded some important restoration work. Cyrus though, like Trump, was not a good and kind person. He was overall quite wicked and did things for his own agenda. This is why you should read history and not just the Bible. Also putting all that up on Trump or anyone else is IDOLATRY and will bite your butt right quick as far as keeping personal spiritual power.
I agree on the value of home churches, but to attain the level of community impact and persecution needed to get the larger things done it has to scale up. So far, no one has done this ‘right’ and it turns into a deadnomination. The model of the wilderness journey, with a small group of top level leaders, placed and empowered by God AND tribe and family smaller groups resolving smaller conflicts and helping each other AND the PERSONAL accountability of leaving your tent each morning and observing for yourself the direction of the day, seems to be the wisest to me.
People want to either boss everyone else or be told what to do so they have no accountability for low level living. Good thing we are not here to have it done right. We are here to serve and love and learn and forgive and suffer. Can’t do that in heaven.
