Yeah my son and daughter in law are coming in from Boston. Very woke pair, high IQ and absolutely bought into the whole get the vaxx super liberal tribe. No matter what I say there is no impact. It will be a real trial. Her aunt died of a stroke shortly after the vaxx but not a single neuron fired int he correct direction.

For some reason my refusal to answer the, are you vaxed, question has pissed off my daughter in laws more than the we’re all gonna die arguements of last year. Final result….they are not “expecting me” to come.

It’s amazing to me how many high IQ folks can’t figure this out. My brother in law, who just jabbed my niece, is one of the smartest people I know. But, they don’t test for common sense on the IQ test, evidently. Thankful for this Paine community making me smarter every day!

I’m not convinced this is an IQ issue. I think it’s more a macro/micro view & excessive fear shuts off the prefrontal cortex. One can get lost counting pine needles in the forest, if you catch my drift!

24/7 fear porn makes people do stupid things. I wonder “every” day how there are so few wandering around on this big blue marble who have still yet to question what their being told to believe…

    It is called mass psychosis!

What we have here Johnny.onions is as Spot puts it further down the thread is mass psychosis. Smart, highly intelligent people fall for this guff because they are not critical thinkers, they have been led all their lives and have a following mentality – they follow. In order to break free from the following mode they need to take control of their own lives and be a leader (at least of themselves). How do we convince them to buck the fuck up? Well. If I have a breakthrough, I’ll let you know; until we figure out something better we will just have to keep doing what we are doing, leading by example.

OF course, the other thing also if it is not mass psychosis, would be that all these smart IQ types are all committed to state funded and assisted suicide. Since we know the suicide rate has ballooned recently, this could be a way for those to commit suicide on themselves in a non radical way. OF course, anticipation becomes a bitch!

Here’s where Canada stands on “assisted suicide”: (from the Govt. of Canada website)

        About mental illness and MAID
If a mental illness is the only medical condition leading you to consider MAID, you are not eligible to seek MAID at this time. Under the new changes made to the law, the exclusion will remain in effect until March 17, 2023.

This temporary exclusion provides the Government of Canada and health professional bodies more time to consider how MAID can be provided safely to those whose only medical condition is a mental illness.

To support this work, the government will initiate an expert review to consider protocols, guidance and safeguards for those with a mental illness seeking MAID, and will make recommendations within a year (by March 17, 2022).

After March 17, 2023, people with a mental illness as their sole underlying medical condition will have access to MAID if they meet all of the eligibility requirements and the practitioners fulfill the safeguards that are put in place for this group of people.

If you have a mental illness along with other medical conditions, you may be eligible to seek MAID.

Eligibility is always assessed on an individual basis, taking into account all of the relevant circumstances. However, you must meet all the criteria to be eligible for medical assistance in dying.
