Davos Elites Warn That Disinformation Is an Existential Threat to Their Influence – The World Economic Forum—an annual meeting of internal business leaders, political figures, and other elites—is well underway in Davos, Switzerland. One of the topics of discussion on Monday was “The Clear and Present Danger of Disinformation,” presented by former CNN host Brian Stelter.
Stelter and his panelists did elucidate several pressing dangers with respect to rampant disinformation on social media; quite inadvertently, they also highlighted the inherent drawbacks of adopting a permanent war-footing approach to stopping disinformation. Indeed, several of the panelists spread inaccurate information during the course of their remarks. – READ MORE
Moderna CEO at Davos: mRNA Vaccine Factories on Every Continent and Making a Deal With CCP – As more and more evidence indicates that COVID-19 vaccines were not as “safe and effective” as advertised (in fact, quite the opposite), COVID-19 vaccine manufacturer Moderna’s CEO Stephane Bancel flew to Davos to pontificate at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) elitist 2023 conference there. Bancel not only wants an mRNA vaccine factory on every continent, but he is also trying to make a deal to sell Moderna COVID vaccines and other mRNA treatments to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Reuters reported that Bancel said during a Davos panel Wednesday that “he would like to have factories making vaccines based on its messenger RNA technology on every continent as the U.S. company prepares to build four facilities.” Bancel was featured in a panel called “State of the Pandemic.” You might have moved on from COVID-19, but some people made too much money off the pandemic, I guess. For instance, Moderna raked in a whopping $18.4 billion from its COVID-19 vaccines in 2022, according to BioSpace, and the company is expected to make at least $5 billion more in 2023. – READ MORE
Pentagon Can’t Account for $220 Billion of Gear Given to Contractors – Auditors say the Pentagon cannot account for $220 billion worth of government-owned gear provided to military contractors—and the actual total is likely much higher.
In a report released Tuesday, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) slammed the Pentagon’s handling of so-called “government-furnished property” (GFP) that has been passed off to contractors with little oversight. The GAO notes that auditors have asked for decades that the Pentagon develop a plan to account for that gear and equipment—which can include “ammunition, missiles, torpedoes,” and component parts for those items—to little avail. In 2001, the Pentagon said it would address the issue by 2005. In 2020, it said the process would be complete by 2026. – READ MORE
The Renewable Energy Problem That No One Talks About – An obvious barrier to adopting wind and solar power for electricity supply is their intermittency – when the wind isn’t blowing, and the sun isn’t shining, substitute sources are required. This issue is given much attention by conservative media, as it should.
Yet one of the less well-known roadblocks for these renewable technologies is frequency control, even though it becomes a critical concern much sooner. – READ MORE
Staggering Report: DOJ Purposely Decided to Have Biden’s Personal Lawyers Conduct Classified Document Search Instead of Sending FBI – The Biden administration’s Justice Department deliberately kept the FBI out of the picture in the search for classified documents tucked away at President Joe Biden’s residences, according to a new report.
The report in the Wall Street Journal cited sources it did not name, who said Biden’s personal lawyers and Justice Department officials jointly came to the conclusion that the FBI should not be present when searches were conducted. – READ MORE
Mask mandates returning? Biden’s DOJ fighting to reimpose unpopular rule –President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) continued its fight to implement a nationwide mask mandate on airplanes and other forms of transportation in federal court Tuesday, according to Reuters.
The DOJ asked the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a federal judge’s April 2021 decision striking down the mask mandate, according to Reuters. Biden declared that “the pandemic is over” Sept. 18, 2021, and all 50 states and most localities had dropped their own mask mandates by early 2022. – READ MORE
NY Supreme Court Strikes Down COVID Vaccine Mandate For Health Care Workers – A state Supreme Court judge in Syracuse, New York, struck down a statewide mandate for medical staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19, ruling that Gov. Kathy Hochul and the state’s health department overstepped their authority.
In a landmark ruling issued on Jan. 13, state Supreme Court Judge Gerard Neri declared the statewide COVID-19 vaccine mandate for medical staff “null, void, and of no effect.” – READ MORE
