FDA Blocks Florida From Using Monoclonal Antibody Treatment, Sites Shut Down Statewide – The Florida Department of Health announced Monday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made an “abrupt decision to remove emergency use authorization for two monoclonal antibodies,” which effectively shut down treatment sites statewide.
The FDA said in its statement that it is removing the authorization because the treatments “are highly unlikely to be active against the omicron variant.” – READ MORE
Los Angeles students must wear non-fabric COVID masks at all times, including sports activities, district says – Students in Los Angeles schools are now prohibited from wearing cloth masks as the district ups its efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Starting Monday, students in the country’s second-largest school district must wear “well-fitted, non-cloth masks with a nose wire” at all times, the district announced. This policy includes indoors as well as athletic activities. – READ MORE
Education Department Tells All NY Parents That Kids Have To Mask Despite Supreme Court Ruling It Illegal – The New York State Education Department has informed parents that they are not allowed to send their children to school unmasked even though the New York State Supreme Court on Monday ruled that the mask mandate is illegal.
The department rationalized that they can ignore the ruling because they plan to appeal. – READ MORE
OSHA Continues To Pursue Vaccine Mandate Despite Supreme Court Loss – The Biden administration announced Tuesday it is withdrawing an emergency order mandating large employers vaccinate or regularly test their workers for COVID-19, but instead will be pushing for a permanent rule.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will formally withdraw the order on Wednesday, according to a draft of the memo to be published in the Federal Register. The agency is not dropping the rule entirely, however, planning to keep the order as a “proposed rule.” The original order would have impacted some 85 million Americans. – READ MORE
Government data show ‘vax-free’ LESS likely to get COVID – Data released by the Scottish government show people who have been vaccinated with two or three doses of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are more likely to become infected, be hospitalized or die than people who are unvaccinated.
The Public Health Scotland data from the past four weeks showed a rate of infection of 866 per 100,000 people for the double vaccinated and 481 per 100,000 for the boosted, or triple vaccinated. – READ MORE
Israeli Expert Panel Supports 4th Vaccine Dose for All Adults – An expert panel advising the Israeli Health Ministry on the coronavirus recommended administering a fourth dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to Israelis aged 18 and above, provided that five months have passed since they received a third shot or recovered from the disease.
The announcement came after the Health Ministry said the fourth shot, already administered to those aged 60 and above, offers three times the level of protection against serious illness than those who were thrice-vaccinated, and twice the level of protection against infection. – READ MORE
Australian Authorities Say Draconian Vaccine Passports Could Last For “Years” – Authorities in Western Australia say their draconian new vaccine passport scheme, which bars the unvaccinated from most public places, is likely to be in place for “years.”
Premier Mark McGowan announced the new measures, which will go into effect from the end of the month, as “the broadest proof of vaccination requirements in the nation.” – READ MORE

Devonne Marsh, 42, had a two-decade violent criminal record under his belt when he allegedly poured lighter fluid on his girlfriend and set her on fire in his Malcomb, Michigan, home. The victim was 27 weeks pregnant with twins and remains in the hospital in critical condition with burns on more than 60% of her body. According to the Macomb Daily, police say the victim was being held against her will and tortured. The total list of charges against Marsh last Friday includes attempted murder, assault and battery of a pregnant individual, domestic violence, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, delivery/manufacturing of controlled substances, felony possession, felonious assault, and felony firearm. – READ MORE
