Fauci Suggests World Is In Phase One Of Five In COVID-19 Pandemic
While other governments move to do away with COVID-19 mandates and regulations, Dr. Anthony Facui recently admitted that it is too early to say that the pandemic is over or decreasing given the rise of the Omicron variant. Since the new variant was discovered, the Biden administration has revamped their efforts to get Americans to take the plunge. And although Americans continue to protest the government overreach, Dr. Fauci noted that the world is still in phase one of five in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attending the World Economic Forum, Dr. Fauci was asked by a reporter if the COVID-19 pandemic would finally be over in 2022. According to the New York Times, “Dr. Fauci also said that the world is still in the first of what he considered to be the five phases of the pandemic. The first is the ‘truly pandemic’ phase, ‘where the whole world is really very negatively impacted,’ followed by deceleration, control, elimination and eradication.”
Claiming that the only human disease to ever truly be eradicated was smallpox, Dr. Fauci was sure to state, “That’s not going to happen with this virus.”
As for the ability of the Omicron variant spreading a collective immunity, Fauci insisted, “it is an open question as to whether or not Omicron is going to be the live virus vaccination that everyone is hoping for, because you have such a great deal of variability with new variants emerging. I would hope that that’s the case. but that would only be the case if we don’t get another variant that eludes the immune response.” – READ MORE
