Elon Musk Drags Bernie After Attack On Wealthy: ‘I Keep Forgetting That You’re Still Alive’

On Sunday, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk dragged radical leftist Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders after Sanders snapped, “We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.”

Musk responded on Twitter, “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” adding, “Want me to sell more stock, Bernie? Just say the word.”

The latter comment referred to Musk’s sale of a combined $6.9 billion worth of shares as of Friday. On November 6, Musk created a Twitter poll asking whether he should sell 10% of his stock in Tesla, tweeting, “Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?” Roughly 58% of the 3.5 million votes cast said he should.- READ MORE
