Department Of Justice Announces It Is Hiring First-Ever ‘Chief Diversity Officer’
The U.S. Justice Department has announced that it will have a new position: Chief Diversity Officer.

In addition to and along with the Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Human Resources and Administration, the DOJ’s Chief Diversity Officer will “lead and coordinate the Department’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility” in the agency.
The salary of the newly created job will reportedly be between $144,128 to $172,500 per year.
President Joe Biden signed an executive order in June to promote diversity and equality within the federal government.
