NYC police see 29 weekend shooting victims, up 383% from 2021 while weekly number nearly doubles – At least 29 people were shot from Friday through Sunday in New York City – a 383% increase year over year – while the latest police department statistics show the number of shooting victims reported last week nearly doubled compared to the same time in 2021.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported nine people shot on Friday, 13 more on Saturday and seven on Sunday. In total, 29 people were wounded in 24 shootings throughout the weekend. And three people were murdered from Friday through Sunday, the NYPD said. – READ MORE

Fentanyl pumped through air vents at juvenile detention center, hospitalizing at least 7 people — including children – At least seven people — including children — were hospitalized Sunday after fentanyl was released into the ventilation system at a juvenile detention center in Stryker, Ohio.

Long interfered with the group to keep together a conspiracy that later implicated Barry Croft Jr. of Delaware, who Long said appeared close to separating from the group.
