The decision was issued by a panel of three judges appointed by Republican presidents in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The judges wrote that there was “cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the mandate,” staying the order while the court assesses it in more depth. – READ MORE

Flip Flop: White House Admits Border Crossers Could Be Paid Off After Biden Claims ‘That’s Not Going to Happen’ – A day after President Joe Biden denied that border crossers could be paid off nearly half a million each as part of a Department of Justice (DOJ) settlement, his White House admits that such payouts will happen “if it saves taxpayer dollars.”

Last month, reports circulated that Biden’s DOJ, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) were working to settle with a number of border crossers represented by the ACLU, who claim they have suffered trauma as a result of former President Donald Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy that was briefly imposed in 2019. – READ MORE

Vaccine mandate could cost border patrol more than half of its agents, internal report says – According to a document from a source within Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), nearly half of border patrol agents have not registered their COVID-19 vaccination status, and ten percent of those who have registered have yet to receive a jab. In a worst-case scenario, the federal vaccine mandate may result in the termination of over half of the border patrol agents, amid an already devastating border crisis.

“You’re going to take an agency that’s already gone through an unbelievable catastrophic crisis on the southwest border and deplete its resources further,” Mark Morgan, who served as the chief operating officer of CBP from 2019 to 2021, told Fox News. Morgan, now a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation, obtained a document from a source inside CBP, a screenshot showing the number of border patrol agents who have yet to report their vaccination status. – READ MORE
