Supreme Court Declines To Block Maine COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate For Health Workers – The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday rejected an emergency request by health care workers seeking a religious exemption to the state of Maine’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The court’s decision not to grant the immediate relief for the health care workers until it decides to review the case, means the state’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate will take effect while litigation continues in lower courts. – READ MORE


American Cancels 1,500 Flights On Halloween Weekend, Denies Any Relation To Vaccine Mandate – American Airlines canceled over 1,500 flights between Oct. 29 and Oct. 31, blaming staff shortages and inclement weather. In addition to 340 flights being canceled on Friday, 540 were canceled on Saturday, and 650 were canceled on Sunday, a spokeswoman for the Texas-based airline told The Epoch Times in an email.

In a letter to employees obtained by The Epoch Times, American’s Chief Operating Officer David Seymour blamed “severe winds” in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with creating the situation. – READ MORE

NYFD Shutters 26 Firehouses Over Vaccine Mandate – As of 7:30 a.m. Saturday, New York City has locked up 26 firehouses due to manpower shortages blamed on the COVID vaccine mandate.

Report: 12K Air Force Personnel Reject Orders to Be Vaccinated for Coronavirus –Approximately 12,000 Air Force personnel have reportedly refused orders to be vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus despite the Pentagon’s mandate.

Officials said it was too late for them to take it by the Tuesday deadline which posed a test for leaders whose August directive apparently sparked defiance in one segment of the force, according to the Washington Post. – READ MORE

Report: Fauci’s NIH Division Funded Hundreds of Ticks Sucking on Puppies Alive – Dr. Anthony Fauci’s division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is funding an experiment at Kansas State University involving hundreds of ticks feasting on puppies injected with a mutant bacteria, alive.

The taxpayer watchdog White Coat Waste Project (WCW) obtained the revealing documents through FOIA, showing that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led by Fauci, gave the school $536,311 for the project this year. – READ MORE


Biden Administration Proposes Nearly $1 Million ‘Reparations’ for Illegal Families as Families of Fallen Troops Only Get $100,000 – President Joe Biden is exploring the idea of offering big sums of cash to families of illegal immigrants deported under President Donald Trump’s border policy, according to reports, more than paid to military families after their child dies in war.

The Wall Street Journal reported that payments of $450,000 per person or close to $1 million per family are being considered by the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services to settle lawsuits filed by the ACLU on behalf of families entering the United States illegally. – READ MORE

Largest US Homeowner Raises Rents As Housing Crunch Persists – Demand for single-family rental homes is off the charts and shows no signs of abating anytime soon, and that is pushing rents sky-high. This has allowed the largest owner of houses in the US to raise rents.

According to Bloomberg, Invitation Homes Inc., which owns approximately 80,000 homes across the country, increased rents by 11% in the third quarter. They raised rents by 8% on renewals and 18% on new leases. Geographically, much of the new increases were found in the Southwest, where rents increased 30% in Las Vegas and 29% in Phoenix. – READ MORE


Dem Pols Profit From Forcing COVID Tests on Cops, Firefighters – We are wearily accustomed to political corruption in Los Angeles. Seldom does a week go by without some new scandalous revelation or criminal indictment involving a city councilman or some other scrounger at the local public trough. Right on schedule recently came the news that Mark Ridley-Thomas, a career politician currently serving on the L.A. city council, was indicted for bribery for alleged acts he committed while sitting on the L.A. County board of supervisors. One of his council colleagues, Jose Huizar, is already under indictment for bribery, and he has adopted the brazen defense that the $1.5 million in “gifts” he received from real estate developers doing business in Los Angeles were not really bribes. (Good luck with that. These “gifts” included private jet travel, casino gambling, and liaisons with prostitutes.)

Granted, when measured for municipal corruption, Los Angeles cannot yet compete with Chicago, where it is practiced with a great and longstanding pride. But a new controversy in L.A., in which local pols not only plan to enrich a friend (and by extension themselves) but do so at the expense of their foes, looks to be a corruption two-fer even the crooks in Chicago can envy. – READ MORE
