The USDA has an emergency contingency fund, that the say they will not dip into when SNAP ends in a couple of days. It is fucked up until that the government is not keeping their end of the bargain with regards to the EBT cards. It is the family and communities job to help the hungry and homeless. That includes the churches and other nonprofits. Yet, the government destroyed the family unit in a variety of ways, and is in the process of destroying churches. What’s left of them he church thinks it’s the governments job to help the he hungry and homeless, and they don’t have food pantries, or daily meal given out. Every aspect of our once great country is upside down.
