2024 Poll: 36% of Democrats Unsure Who They Support if Not Biden, 13% Want Kamala Harris
President Joe Biden has said he will run for a second term in 2024 at age 81, but a poll shows that if he does not only 13 percent would support Vice President Kamala Harris. Former first lady Michelle Obama came in as the No. 2 pick at 10 percent.
However, neither woman got a majority of support from respondents, with 36 percent saying they were “unsure” who they would support, and 13 percent said they would choose someone who was not on the list.
The Hill reported on its Hill-HarrisX poll:
All other candidates listed received 5 percent or less support, with most voters surveyed still unsure of who they would back if Biden chose not run.
Other candidates in the poll included 2020 presidential hopefuls Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Yang and Pete Buttigieg.
Harris, who Biden tasked with solving the migrant crisis on the U.S. border with Mexico and championing the Democrats’ so-called voters rights agenda, has consistently had low approval ratings.- READ MORE
